Shopping to give a Second Chance to Horses
At HAPPA Direct, they believe that compassion and style go hand in hand. They are a unique eCommerce charity horse shop dedicated to supporting the life-changing work of HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association). The Brief
HAPPA started their eCommerce journey with The Fussy Filly which we originally built in 2016.
In 2023 it was decided they needed a brand new eCommerce website with new branding to sit more inline with the main HAPPA website and branding... so HAPPA Direct was born.
The website needed to be seamlessly easy to use with different functions and layouts depending on which device the user was using.
Once the website was live and handed over the content management system needed to be very user friendly so all staff at HAPPA could work on the website and manage it in-house.
Online Auctions
HAPPA have a Secondhand facility where people can donate preloved equestrian gems.
For this HAPPA needed an auction section to sit along side the WooCommerce eCommerce working of the website. This allows users to bid on the items they want at a price they are willing to pay for it.
Cost Calculator Website Development
HAPPA offer a professional equestrian rug, boots and saddle pads washing Service, designed to revitalise, and restore items to their former glory.
To allow users to calculate the cost of submitting multiple items at the same time providing information about each items we built a calculator which had multiple conditions.
