Old Laund Booth Parish Council – New Website Design
Supporting the local community with a new website
Old Laund Booth Parish Council represents the village of Fence in Pendle, working closely with Pendle Borough Council and Lancashire County Council on behalf of residents. Like many parish councils, they play an important role in the local community, with the power to raise money through council tax (known as a Precept) and fund projects unique to the village.
When the new Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer took over, they inherited a website that was difficult to manage and out of date. Having already worked with us for many years on Higham Parish Council’s website, they asked us to step in and rebuild Old Laund Booth’s site so it could be brought back under control.
We carried out a quick rebuild of the existing content on a fresh, clean WordPress setup. This gave the clerk an easy-to-use admin area for making updates and keeping information current for residents. The design is fully mobile responsive, secure, and backed by our fully managed web hosting and regular backups for peace of mind.
The result is a straightforward, functional parish council website that will continue to evolve as the clerk adds new updates and resources for the community.
