CMS Live was founded in 2007 by Gemma and Martin Starkie — partners in business and life. Over the years, we’ve quietly built a reputation for being the kind of web specialists who get stuck in, fix tricky problems, and never disappear when you need help.

I’m the one behind the scenes making sure your site stays fast, secure and up-to-date. I manage our dedicated hosting servers, resolve technical issues, and handle advanced development for platforms like WordPress, Magento and Adobe Commerce. If something’s gone wrong, I’ll find it — and fix it.

Co-Owner / Digital DirectorI look after everything you see and interact with — from your site design and branding to your SEO and marketing. Gemma & Martin have done a great job with our website we have used them for the last 11 years, and they have updated the website to a more modern websits 2 years ago and looks amazing. every time we need the website updating i send over the photos and a piece of writing which they update and add to very quickly for us. Great team to work with and look after us very well.

CMS Live have been an amazing help to both sides of our business, helping to sort our our existing golf equipment site that was in a mess with security issues due to previous bad management. Martin was extremely patient with us as we had little knowledge of how these things worked and taught us lots of the basics so we could resolve some issues on our own - not an easy task - he deserves a medal! Then following on he used our existing site to create a template for a completely new workwear site and liaised with our suppliers in Sweden on our behalf to create data files to enable us to use their catalogue of products which is proving to be successful. CMS Live is what every business needs that does not have its own in house IT & Web team - they have proved to be trustworthy, diligent and efficient and i would not hesitate to recommend! We use them now on a monthly basis to keep out sites secure and up to date. 👌
