John Macadam and Son was established in 1966
Managing director, Doug (John) Macadam has grown the business from a one-man band business, to a flourishing and popular company employing over 100 people.
The Brief
We built the first website for Macadams of Colne in 2016. As the company continues to grow they made the decision to update the website to reflect this.
There are two parts to Macadams. Rescue & Recovery and Accident & Repair. The decision was made to split the website into two and dedicate each website to its part of the company with dedicated information and contact details.
Custom Layout
Over the years Macadams have acquired multiple vehicle rescue centres along with their domain names and company websites so we were required to pull everything together to ensure all enquiries would be captured and sent to the correct place.
The website design had to be informative but also represent the history and fantastic reputation the company has.

The new website required photography to showcase the various departments, facilities and vehicles that Macadam use. Martin Starkie Photography arrived at their Colne depot to photograph and capture their expertise.
