PEARL is a pioneering joint venture partnership between Pendle Borough Council and Barnfield Investment Properties (BIP). We were asked to meet the board members to pitch for the new website.

The Brief
The brief for the website was to provide key information to the public about the partnership and past, ongoing and future projects.
The website had to be modern and easy to navigate. Also, it had to have the functionality for all staff to be able to update the website in-house. The admin area needed to be clear and easy to use.
Dynamic CSS
We used custom CSS on multiple sections and elements across the website, to create a truly unique website.
Utilising CSS helped us to achieve the exact look and feel that was requested. We even applied completely branding to a section of the website, so that it was clearly visible as a featured development, using colour and font variations.
Bespoke Layout
We designed the website in accordance to the functionality required by the PEARL board. We used several variations in columns widths and used large imagery where possible to maximise impact.
Responsive Layout
In todays modern world it is essential for websites to be responsive and display clearly on all devices.
We are aware of this and this project was no different. We tested the website on all phones and tables as well as desktops to ensure that it was responsive and worked seamlessly on all devices.
