Creating and Revamping Websites for Giddy Kippers and Lazer Fazer

Having received a glowing testimonial from Mark Nuttall, Director at Giddy Kippers Ltdand Lazer Fazer Ltd, we wanted to share with everyone the work we did for them. All quotes are Mark’s own.
Mark came to us regarding a revamp of the Giddy Kippers website, as well as a brand new website for Lazer Fazer, the offshoot of their children’s play centre, explaining that they were looking for a ‘…strong and functional site that had a distinctive brand design that looked exciting, dynamic, and fresh.’
He explained he wanted to ‘Show [us] what made [them] tick and what exactly it was [they] wanted to communicate to [their] customers.’, so we met up with Mark, his partner, and his General Manager, to get a better understanding of the brand. With everything on board, we felt WordPress would be perfect for these two websites.
WordPress websites are great if a client is looking for a website that they can easily manage themselves. The team at Giddy Kippers & Lazer Fazer told us that they always had forthcoming events, offers and closures for private parties, that they needed a website that would become one of their daily marketing tools. So with all of the admin capabilities a WordPress website offers, the WordPress platform was the obvious choice.
We started with their Lazer Fazer website, which we built from scratch. As well as looking great and grabbing a user’s attention, the website needed to be fully functional, making it easy for customers to find out play session times and book parties. We worked on a striking, sci-fi-esque design, that fit with the brand and the laser tag game the brand was based around. We understood the urgency to get this website live as soon as possible, so worked hard for a quick turnaround, and our client was seemingly very happy with the result: ‘We were bowled over with the new site, and have subsequently had many complimentary comments regarding the look and the ease of use of the website.’

Moving on to revamping the Giddy Kippers website, this was a little trickier as the brand had already been established for 10 years, but we created something that we felt fit. It was important that the website flowed and that it served adults as opposed to children, so parents could find out all the information they would need when planning a visit. Our client was pleased with the revamp, saying we ‘…had developed a website that not only worked as a fully functional front ender for [their] business, but has the ability to be added to moving the business forwards.’
